A portfolio website for an award-winning architecture practice working across the Cyclades, built to present hotels, villas and interiors through photography with minimal interference from the interface.
The brief
The practice is judged on its work, which includes hospitality projects in Santorini and Mykonos and several international design awards. The site had to present that work at full size, load quickly despite large photography, and allow the practice to add projects, awards and press without technical assistance.
What was built
A portfolio where each project is presented through its images, with a short description and credits, and a news section for awards and publications.
An opening sequence with aerial photography of the Cycladic coastline, leading into the practice statement and selected projects.
Automatic resizing and compression so that high-resolution photography does not slow the site, on desktop or mobile.
Built on Webflow with a content system, so new projects and news items are added by the practice itself.
